
Virtual – Navigating Mental Health and Chronic Illness

Chronic illnesses not only affect the body but also have profound mental health implications. In this program, Stephanie Aaron Heyde, LCSW, will explore how these illnesses can lead to anxiety, depression, and emotional stress, with a particular consideration for cancer. Participants will gain insight into the psychological effects of chronic illness, and how they can manifest for people with cancer. The session will introduce tools and coping strategies to manage these emotional challenges and improve overall well-being, fostering a more holistic approach to care.
