Meet our Honorees:

We are delighted to honor Marla and Mitch Wilneff with the CWC Impact Award in recognition of their commitment to supporting individuals and their families facing the challenge of a cancer diagnosis.

Losing her sister to cancer 24 years ago has deepened Marla’s appreciation for the vital role the Cancer Wellness Center plays in supporting those affected by the terrible disease.

Both former attorneys and business entrepreneurs, the Wilneffs are now actively involved in philanthropy. Together, Marla and Mitch exemplify the essence of civic leadership and community support, driven by their personal experiences and passion for making a difference. In addition to their dedication to the Cancer Wellness Center, they support a variety of charitable organizations on both a board and sponsorship level. Mitch also remains involved in several business ventures.

Marla and Mitch reside in Glencoe, and have two adult children, Landon and Camryn. Marla and Mitch will be celebrating their 37th wedding anniversary on the night of this special event.

The CWC Impact Award is presented at our annual Better Together Benefit.

The award recognizes community leaders that have joined the Center in their important work – improving the emotional and physical well-being of people affected by cancer.

The CWC Impact Award honors an individual, couple, or organization that has made a deep impact on our community through their leadership, civic and philanthropic contributions to the Cancer Wellness Center.
