In the month of June, CWC is offering grief program for children ages 6-16.
Join our Certified Child Life Specialist, Elyssa Siegel, for 4 sessions designed to help kids cope with their grief after losing a family member to cancer.
During each session, we will work on emotional expressive activities and create a safe-space to share feelings. We will provide activities focused on fostering resilience while having fun. Dinner will be provided, please contact us prior to the program if your child has any food allergies.
Attendance is required for each session of this 4 week program. Parents are invited to stay the first session to learn about the adult grief services offered at CWC and ask questions about Bereavement Programs to our Bereavement Coordinator, Michelle Mattero. Parents are invited to stay or drop off remaining sessions.
