CWC Labyrinth and Healing Garden Dedication (5:00 pm – 5:30 pm)

Join us for the dedication of CWC’s Labyrinth and Healing Garden. Through the generosity of donors, the first phase of creating an outdoor space for participants and the CWC community has been completed. The space is intended to expand programming with dedicated labyrinth programs, outdoor meditation and class space, and opportunities for garden cultivation. We hope it will provide a place where individuals can find calm, purpose or peace.

Candlelight Labyrinth Walk (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm)

Please join us for a candlelit labyrinth walk and stone painting in honor of those we remember.

The journey of walking the labyrinth becomes a metaphor for one’s grief. The feelings of not knowing the way, feeling lost, or as though no progress is being made are common in grief—and in walking a labyrinth. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only a single path to the center—there are no dead ends, no possibility of getting lost or stuck. Instead, the path leads us to the center, a sacred place, where tears, regret, sadness, guilt and anger are often released. When walking out of the labyrinth many become aware of a sense of release and a letting go of what was brought into the labyrinth. Our hope is that you find a sense of peace, calm and hope for the future. Stones can be made in dedication of a loved one or personalized to reflect your grief journey. The stones will be placed in our healing garden in the spring.

All participants must provide proof of Covid 19 vaccination and sign a waiver upon arrival to attend all in-person programs.
