Virtual: Physical Activity for Cancer Survivorship: Health Benefits and Exercise Prescription

In this workshop, Dr. Neha Gothe, a professor and researcher from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will discuss the importance of physical activity for cancer survivors. In her presentation, she will review the health benefits of exercise for adults, benefits for cancer survivors, review American Cancer Society exercise recommendations, and provide tips for kick-starting a consistent exercise routine!

Dr. Gothe will also be joined by two of her graduate students, Emily and Veronica who will conduct a short (~10 minute) exercise demonstration at the end of the presentation!
